A Letter for You

Beth Sullivan, the president of Education Voters of America and Dan Leeds, the Chairman of our Board of Directors met with US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan a few weeks back and brought with them a petition and 1500 signatures in support of President Barack Obama’s stated goals to invest in education, make our schools safer and more aligned with 21st century curriculum, and make access to quality early childhood education and higher education better and more affordable.  We got a nice letter back from Secretary Duncan which you can read here: Letter from Secretary Duncan.

Thanks to all who signed our petition and were a part of this effort!

    Dear Sec. Duncan:
I suspected that Pres. Obama knew what he was looking for in a Sec. of Education, and got what he was looking for, in yourself.
Let me know how I can help.

Thank you for all your hard work so far. As a worker in Special Education, I value anything done to help our schools here in Ohio. Futhermore, as a mother of a son in a school system here that has levied it’s district for more funds to function and failed 4 times I am asking for help. Our children deserve a future. Our government can lead the way. Thank you. Melissa Kelhoffer
