Education experts have known for four decades how to solve the growing problems in education–reduce the teacher-to-student ratio. We simply have not had the political will to implement this, in part because no corporation would make money from this solution. We need to find that political will or we will continue to chase our tails on the education issue. Increased testing programs and top-heavy school administrations have ham-strung, not furthered American education.

“No Child Left Behind” was a disaster.
Sending more kids to college when we have over 12% unemployment is a farce. How about bringing back “outsourced” jobs for average people with average educations? Not everyone wants to be, or needs to be, a PhD.
Early Age education is a terrible waste of childhood. We don’t need to turn small children into robots. Let them be children for as long as they can.
